Individual Counseling

It’s also called individual therapy. The sessions are typically 15-50 minutes long. Clients usually start their session by telling their ‘story or issue’ that brings them to counseling.  

The therapist’s role is both a listener and an explorer of options to help the client to recovery. In most cases, the number of sessions depends on the issue, the person, and the level of collaboration to follow through with counseling recommendations.
