Individual Counseling

Individual counseling offers a confidential and personalized space for deep self-exploration, emotional healing, and personal growth. In one-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist, clients are guided through a process of understanding and addressing emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges in a safe and supportive environment.

At our practice, we honor the diverse cultural backgrounds and unique cross-cultural and lived experiences of each client, tailoring our approach to be culturally sensitive and inclusive. We integrate a range of evidence-based and holistic modalities to meet the broad spectrum of client needs, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helps clients recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns, improving mood, behavior, and emotional regulation (Beck, 2011).

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Promotes mindfulness, acceptance, and values-based living, enhancing psychological flexibility and resilience (Hayes, Strosahl, & Wilson, 2012).

  • Jungian Shadow Work: Invites clients to explore unconscious or repressed aspects of the self, fostering greater self-integration, insight, and authenticity (Jung, 1959; Zweig & Abrams, 1991).

  • Sound Healing Therapy: A holistic modality that uses sound frequencies—such as tuning forks, singing bowls, vocal toning, and music—to support emotional release, reduce stress, and regulate the nervous system. This method facilitates deep relaxation and access to non-verbal emotional processing, enhancing therapeutic outcomes (Goldsby et al., 2017; McCaffrey & Freeman, 2003).

By combining traditional psychotherapeutic approaches with integrative techniques, and by honoring cultural contexts and individual identities, we offer a comprehensive path toward mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Whether you seek to reduce anxiety, navigate life transitions, increase self-awareness, or heal from trauma, individual counseling provides a meaningful framework for lasting change.

Your healing journey begins with one step. Schedule a session today to explore what’s possible.

Domestic violence

Therapy for domestic violence survivors is designed to provide support and guidance to those who have experienced physical, emotional, or psychological abuse. This type of therapy focuses on helping individuals heal from the trauma of abuse and develop the necessary skills to regain control of their lives. Victims of domestic violence often experience feelings of isolation, insecurity, and low self-esteem, so therapy offers a safe space where they can express their emotions, learn to set healthy boundaries, and rebuild their confidence.

Therapists specialized in domestic violence use techniques tailored to address the aftermath of abuse and help individuals find their inner strength and heal effectively.

LGBTQ+

LGBTQ+ therapy focuses on providing a safe and understanding space for individuals within the LGBTQ+ community who seek emotional and psychological support. LGBTQ+ individuals often face unique challenges related to gender identity, sexual orientation, discrimination, and social acceptance, and this type of therapy offers a specific approach to address these issues. Specialized therapists understand the complexities of LGBTQ+ life and create an environment where the patient’s identity is valued, self-acceptance is promoted, and emotional problems stemming from rejection or discrimination are addressed.

Therapy also provides support for those going through gender transition, helping them navigate the emotions and challenges that arise in this process. It is therapy designed to empower individuals and provide them with tools to live a fuller, more authentic life.

Shadow work

Shadow Work Therapy invites you to explore the hidden parts of yourself—the emotions, memories, and patterns you may have repressed or avoided. Rooted in Jungian psychology, this therapeutic approach helps you bring unconscious aspects into the light, allowing you to understand your inner conflicts, heal past wounds, and gain greater self-awareness.

By integrating your "shadow," you can move toward a more authentic, balanced version of yourself—one that accepts all parts of your being with compassion and clarity.

Tibetan Singing Bowl

Sound Bowl Therapy uses the soothing vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls to guide you into deep relaxation and emotional release. The harmonic frequencies produced by the bowls work on a cellular level, calming the nervous system and restoring energetic balance.

This practice is especially beneficial for those experiencing stress, anxiety, or emotional blockages. By immersing yourself in sound, you create space for stillness, presence, and healing—nurturing both body and mind in a gentle, non-invasive way.
